First writings mention the hotel in the year 1936 in a Domus Hospitis. Today it is still the ideal accommodation for businessmen or an extended week-end-stay.
Goethe, Casanova and such well-known artists as Ted Scapa, Basil Luginbühl, Peter von Wattenwyl, Corpaato, Jérôme Rudin, paco, Hollenstein and Antoine Meyer slept here. You could do worse than to emulate them, but their rooms did not have the kitchenette and business corner that you will have.
