Built between 1848 and 1900 it's recognised as one of the most beautiful, largest and best maintained historical hotel buildings within Switzerland. The Kronenhof is situated right in the middle of the old village area of Pontresina, called "Laret",majestically it bestows an appearance of luxurious splendour upon the village.It offers a unique view to the glaciers Bernina and pine and larch forests.Pontresina's elevation is 1800 metres above sea level,on the foot of the eternal ice of the Bernina and at the entrance of the wild romantic Roseg valley.It is within easy distance to the popular St. Moritz; the meeting point of skiers,cross-country skiers, mountain climbers,nature lovers and above all world travelled gourmands.Every guest finds his personal holiday delight be it during the winter or summer season.
